In many ways, The Hurricane Heist’s lack of self-awareness regarding just how dated it feels plays to its advantage. If you’re looking for that 1997 big-budget CG showcase experience without the wink-wink self deprecating irony of The Lonely Island or Deadpool, then you should be fairly satisfied with this cinematic time capsule. The Hurricane Heist delivers what it promises on some basic level; it’s got plenty of hurricane, and it’s got plenty of heist. I gave it a 5..for the special effects only! I guess anything goes in movies nowadays. Not only is the plot not plausable. But the acting is TV rating stuff only. This seems like a nice movie for HBO or TNT. Good thing I got a free ticket to see this.

“The Hurricane Heist” was a regular story, although the story and the plot were good, the performances were generic, and the special effects were cheap and bad. But it is also a crazy idea.
